Amazing Race-Style City Challenge: Team Scavenger Hunt 

Boost employee engagement and enjoy a team-building activity simultaneously in this fast-paced, high-tech adventure. It’s team versus team as you complete hilarious photo missions!
In this Amazing race-style city challenge, Each team uses our Android/iPhone app to complete missions as they run around the streets of Los Angeles, San Diego, or Orange County.

In the beginning, we will do a short briefing to explain the rules, how the iPads work, etc. We will provide each team with a backpack that contains the iPad and the tools necessary to complete the different tasks and challenges. Each mission is a photograph that might have your team giving strangers a piggyback ride or wrapping a team member up with toilet paper like a mummy. You’ll also test yourself against puzzles, staffed checkpoints, and trivia.

The interaction between the teams is another strong point of this team-building activity, there is an instant messaging system integrated into the game which allows messages to be sent between teams as well as the organizers. The teams can boycott each other or make alliances. This experience combines teamwork, competition, and a guaranteed good time.

Create Your Own Amazing Race-Style Scavenger Hunt.

Choose from one of the following themes or create your own!   If it’s marked “anywhere” we can customize the adventure to your location.

• Crazy Eighties (Anywhere)- Dayglow and spandex rule this 80s-themed scavenger hunt as teams conquer breakdance battles and more.
• Glow & Go (Anywhere) – Bright Colors and colorful challenges will create amazing photos.
• Heroes & Villains (Anywhere)- Choose a hero or villain to rally behind and head out into the streets. You’ll be photographing epic moments and men in tights.
• Hollywood Hunts (Hollywood)- Set in the streets of Hollywood, CA. Explore famous LA and Hollywood landmarks and rub shoulders with the stars. Can the Kardashians keep up with You?
• Rodeo Drive Rally (Beverly Hills)- Explore the posh glamour-filled storefronts of Beverly Hills in this epic scavenger hunt. All of the challenges are coated in 24 karat gold.
• CYO (Choose Your Own) – Got a theme your group would love? Let us create a hunt around it! We create hunts ANYWHERE!

Option 2: Check Point Challenge (Amazing Race Style)

Race the other teams to complete Checkpoints before the time runs out! You’ll start with a list of clues hinting at the location of Checkpoints. At each Checkpoint, your team must complete a hilarious team challenge or solve a puzzle to earn points toward their final score. You’ll also have opportunities to earn bonus points along the way. This is part Amazing Race, part scavenger hunt but ALL fun!

• UP TO 60 PHOTO MISSIONS

Pose the perfect breakdancing photo, press submit, and you’re off a running to the next challenge. You’ll be able to see all the other team’s submissions via the Photo Feed.

• DIGITAL LEADERBOARD

How are you ranking against the other teams? Keep an eye on the competition via the leaderboard.

• CHECKPOINT CHALLENGES

Checkpoints are staffed locations that your teams complete for HUGE points. They can be in the form of a Minute to Win It Challenge, Trivia, Puzzles, or a good team-building challenge.

• TRIVIA CHALLENGES

We include 10 CUSTOM trivia questions for your hunt. Perfect for quizzing about a new product, testing company knowledge, or seeing who knows their coworkers best. We’ll also include trivia that relates to the location and theme you’ve chosen.

• ONSITE HOSTS!

You will always have professional staff members to pump your group up and relay the rules. We use top-notch facilitators.

•  PRIZES

We’ll always have genuine metal medals for the winning team. Let your event specialist know if you like to add engraving or prizes for other places.

•  FREE DOWNLOAD OF ALL IMAGES

We’ll download every image submitted through the app. You’ll receive those via a dropbox link or email. All the hilarious, funny, warm, fuzzy moments for you to stick on social media.
